MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) – A festive flavor of Blue Bell ice cream will be hitting store freezers on Wednesday.

The Mardi Gras King Cake ice cream was released in select areas last year during the carnival season. This year the ice cream will be available across the country.

The cinnamon cake flavored ice cream includes tasty pastry pieces, a colorful green cream cheese swirl and festive candy sprinkles, according to the company.

It will be available for a limited time in a half gallon.
